Spray Dye

Fabric dyes in spray form work best on natural materials such as cotton, linen, wool, and silk. The fabric dye penetrates the fibers and does not dissolve. The dye does not adhere as well to synthetic fabrics and may run or cause stiffness. It can be used in many applications, such as for clothing, shoes, chairs, and armchairs, etc.

• Make sure the fabric is clean and ironed (flat surface). 
• Shake the dye well before using it, and remove the protective cap from the bottle. 
• Place paper or a plastic bag behind the surface you're painting to prevent paint from seeping through to the back. 
• You can apply the dye directly to the fabric from a distance of 25 cm. 
• The first layer can be transparent. If you want the bottom layer to show through, you can use just one layer. 
• The second and third coats provide a more opaque color. 
• We recommend waiting 5 minutes between coats. 
• You can apply the dye however you like. You can use stencils and mix colors. 
• When using a stencil, it is recommended that you remove excess dye with a cloth to achieve a neater result. 
• You can also use fabric dye for batik and tie-dye by diluting the dye in a container of water in a 1:1 ratio and soaking the fabric in it. 
• When applying batik, dip the fabric in the dye, squeeze out the excess water, and let the fabric dry. You can also apply the dye with a brush, just like you would with watercolor paint.
  

• All fabrics dyed with Aybel Fabric Dye Spray must be allowed to dry for one day. 
• After that, the color can be set by ironing the painted area on the back for about 3 minutes. 
• If the surface isn't suitable for ironing (such as the sole of a shoe), you can use a hair dryer to set the dye.
• Temperature is important for the setting process.
• It is not necessary to apply paint to fabrics.
